Weekly Giveaways #30 - Week of 11/29/09

THIS WEEK’S QUIZ QUESTION:
We serve the spiritual needs of our community in what we sometimes call “the upper Church” (where we celebrate Mass) and the physical needs of our surrounding community in “the lower Church” (what we refer to as the Welcome Table/Mission). They are inextricably linked.
How then is participating in the Capital Campaign vital for both the upper and lower Church?

THIS WEEK’S PRIZE:
A $50 Gift certificate from VYNL Restaurant.
As always, thanks to VYNL!

THE WINNER:
Grace Springer

THE ANSWER:
In the Upper Church, we celebrate Eucharist, so our spiritual lives are fed. In the Lower Church, we feed people and their physical needs are met (and hopefully their spiritual too). Without taking care of the physical structure of the Church building, neither one could continue.
